CHOCOLATE REVIEWS: Lindt 85% Cocoa Extra Dark Chocolate

Started by Valerie Sep 6, 2013. 0 Replies

I really enjoy dark chocolate. 85% is quite nice, and makes your average dark chocolate taste like milk chocolate after. The ingredients are easy to approve, with 'buorbon vanilla' ending the…Continue

That's been my motto for years. But the truth is I am a hopeless chocolate addict. I can't stay away from the stuff. I cover my carbs but that's really not what I want to be doing. Without chocolate…Continue

Yesterday I went over to a friend's house equipped with 300g of milk chocolate, and a big bag of gummy bears. We decided to melt the chocolate in a broiler pot (simmering water in a large pot and…Continue

Ali, have you heard of Brookside chocolate-covered almonds?

Maybe you shouldn't read this. But they're awesome.

My brother was nice to me.
He brought me over another jar of Chocolate Covered Almonds.
After eating 33 of them, my Mom took them and hid them from me.
Praise the Lord.

I'm a dark chocolate covered almond addict.
They say the first step is admitting your addiction.

Those sugar free bars aren't great, I still stay with real chocolate just because i try not to eat 'fake stuff' if possible. Try to just eat a little less than i would like.
And sometimes, you just have to splurge! Yes, I ate an Entemanns chocolate cupcake yesterday as the hormones have kicked in and it was fabulous!

Valerie I also walked with an armful but when I got home I hid them all over the place and told hubby that we were having an egghunt and I was eating anything he didn't find haha... I maybe got a third of the loot and we still found extras this morning I had forgotten about!

Hi all choc lovers !!! I love dark choc. This past Monday was my b-day and my husband got me 4 dark choc bars. They are Ghiardelli. Each one is at least 72% dark choc. They aren't sweet, but that is what I like. TY hubby !

I know... I had to limit myself, and walked away with just one arm full, not two. It was a big step for me. Haha.

New to tudiabetes and this is the first group that spoke to me! Easter just went by and I had to endure some chalky "sugar-free" stuff from the family, so the following day I got all the chocolate on sale I could get my hands on. I am aware that I am diabetic but I just could not resist! I'll keep an eye and will try the ones you posted below.

Cote D'Or, someone else knows of it's magical deliciousness? Wow is that ever a well-crafted chocolate. LOVE their bars, all of them, mostly the citron one and the 70% cocoa one.

A fellow chocolate lover here! I just received my favorite, Cote D'Or, milk or dark, have to order via amazon as no local places carry this brand. Also love Coffee Bean and Tea leaf's sugar free hot chocolate powder and their sugar free vanilla powder.
