I love chocolate. Chocolate is amazing. A day without chocolate doesn't count.

Comment by Wiffy on May 25, 2012 at 8:16am Those sugar free bars aren't great, I still stay with real chocolate just because i try not to eat 'fake stuff' if possible. Try to just eat a little less than i would like.
And sometimes, you just have to splurge! Yes, I ate an Entemanns chocolate cupcake yesterday as the hormones have kicked in and it was fabulous!
Comment by Maycri on April 23, 2012 at 4:27pm Valerie I also walked with an armful but when I got home I hid them all over the place and told hubby that we were having an egghunt and I was eating anything he didn't find haha... I maybe got a third of the loot and we still found extras this morning I had forgotten about!
Comment by catlover on April 21, 2012 at 10:50am Hi all choc lovers !!! I love dark choc. This past Monday was my b-day and my husband got me 4 dark choc bars. They are Ghiardelli. Each one is at least 72% dark choc. They aren't sweet, but that is what I like. TY hubby !
Comment by Valerie on April 19, 2012 at 9:04pm I know... I had to limit myself, and walked away with just one arm full, not two. It was a big step for me. Haha.
Comment by Maycri on April 19, 2012 at 1:15pm New to tudiabetes and this is the first group that spoke to me! Easter just went by and I had to endure some chalky "sugar-free" stuff from the family, so the following day I got all the chocolate on sale I could get my hands on. I am aware that I am diabetic but I just could not resist! I'll keep an eye and will try the ones you posted below.
Comment by Valerie on January 10, 2012 at 9:33am Cote D'Or, someone else knows of it's magical deliciousness? Wow is that ever a well-crafted chocolate. LOVE their bars, all of them, mostly the citron one and the 70% cocoa one.
Comment by Wiffy on January 10, 2012 at 9:25am A fellow chocolate lover here! I just received my favorite, Cote D'Or, milk or dark, have to order via amazon as no local places carry this brand. Also love Coffee Bean and Tea leaf's sugar free hot chocolate powder and their sugar free vanilla powder.

Sure...but it is full on fat. The chocolate may taste a little bitter but I like it.
3 sq unsweetened chocolate melted, 6 Tbsp butter melted, 8 oz cream cheese softened, 6 tsp Truvia, 9 tsp Granulated Splenda (adjust to your taste). 1 tsp vanilla
Mix melted chocolate and butter together. Add sweeteners. Adjust sweetness to your liking. (Truvia adds a odd cool taste so go easy with it.) Add cream cheese and mix really well. Put in small casserole dish (approx 6 x 6 x 2,) and refrigerate. It is better the next day. 16 servings
