Karina you caught my eye on the stress things. I've just had my 44th anniversary as a type I, been self employed 27 years. The economy has hit us hard. Just in August alone we lost our business equipment, had to replace it after just getting out of debt. Then we got hit with a tax audit, and I got diagnosed with a painful hand condition (dupuytrens). I've been trying to slow down, get out of some things that cause stress etc. But stuff just keeps coming. I have fibromyalgia too, so that is getting worse. No way to convey to the world in general that I am trying to back off, take better care of myself and chill out a bit. Did I mention, taking care of my 89 yr old Mom is also much more needed than ridiculous time wasting stuff. This is the first time in 44 years I feel like I had better do some things differently, but how I dont know.

Hello! My name is Karina, and I have type 1 diabetes, I have just recently joined in this big community and I feel very welcomed, I have been going thru alot lately with my condition and not to mention the everydays of life, I am currently working and all those horrible headaches and work issues really get to me not to mention that I feel like I cant really do anything there unless quitting is one option. My blood sugars have been out of the roof sometimes and even the high level of stress wears me out so fast, thank God that I have been able to manage it with Gods help and my husbands but I feel like I need a new change of pace so I wont have to always be worrying about my bloodsugar the next day, or what situation will arise that will make it shoot thru the roof, also I sometimes feel like my employer doesnt really want to pay attention to what I have explained to them about the issues Ive benn having with the management of my diabetes and how that makes me feel.

WISHING YOU A BLESSED EASTER!

Comment by Linda G on March 24, 2013 at 4:52pm

"A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” "

We humans are both body and soul. Thats why I let the doctors deal with my body and God takes care of my spiritual needs!
