So this new Solo pump from Medingo looks intriguing but I really don't want to go with something that will be 1) hard to navigate the menus and 2) will have very few if any of the Cozmo's features (disconnect, hypomanager, etc.). Has anyone else been holding onto their Cozmo to see what else comes to market between now and the end of their warranty? Is anyone else looking at this one?

I'm hanging on to my Cozmo. I saw my Endo shortly after the announcement from Smiths Medical and asked him if I should take advantage of any of the offers from other pump manufacturers. He asked me if I liked the pump. Yes. Did I know whether I liked any of the others better? No, in fact, I was sure I liked the Cozmo better (I'd switched from many years of Minimed.) Who knows? Maybe something I like better will come out. Over the years, it seems that pump manufacturers refine their products, making them more useful and more user-friendly. We are in this diabetes thing for the long haul, and there is no reason to make a hasty decision, especially since I don't like the other pumps presently available.
It made sense to me and that's what I plan to do.
