Hello everyone, I recently joined tudiabetes and found out about this group. I'm type 1 and will be pumping it from next week on. I was diagnosed in 2008 with type 2 but now it appears that I'm a very special type 1 (still in investigation). I am certainly interested in the GW meeting, please provide more info. And about the syrup. I have been using an agave syrup as a sugar replacement for my coffee, is this a sound replacement for sugar? Thanks everyone.

Does anyone know why it's so hard to find sugar free syrup in the district? It's like restaurants refuse to stock it for brunch... and you know there are a lot of type twos running around the capital.

Hello, my name is Reggie and I have Type 1.5 diabetes. I was diagnosed in 1993 at the age of 33. A friend and I are trying to re-start a support group for Insulin pumpers and others with IDDM meeting at the GW University Hospital. If interested or know anyone who might be, please send me a message.

Thanks and glad to be apart of this group.
