Permalink Reply by Unknown Diabetic on November 25, 2012 at 6:37am I only got the 3 boxes which would be 12 sensors. The bill from Carecentrix says i'm billed for 84. I emailed them yesterday; but they only work Monday - Thursday. The price per unit on my bill says they are $10.84 each. By what i've read from comments on here I thought the unit price was around $80.00 each. It is starting to look like the 84 is how many days worth I have. 12 sensors Times 7 days for each sensor equals 84 days. If this is what they did this sure is a screwed up way to do billing.
Permalink Reply by Clare on November 25, 2012 at 7:08am I just got my bill the other day for sensors it was the same as pup's it was for 3 boxes of 4 sensors each for a total of 12 sensors. Each box was $499.00 with $108.00 insurance adjustment for a total of $391.00 per box of 4 so the bill for the sensors alone was $1173.00
Permalink Reply by Unknown Diabetic on November 25, 2012 at 8:00am Clare did you have the 7+ before the G4? Looks like the G4 sensors are a lot more expensive.
Permalink Reply by English lady on November 25, 2012 at 9:47am How much were you billed? I was told the G4 sensors are about the same price as the 7+ - £62.50 plus postage in the UK so just over $100 in US? Are Dexcom selling off their remaining stock of 7+ sensors on the cheap?
Permalink Reply by Unknown Diabetic on November 25, 2012 at 2:07pm I was billed $909.94 for the sensors; but this is for the 7+. Unfortunately I ordered mine a few weeks before the G4 came out.
Permalink Reply by Clare on November 25, 2012 at 11:35am No this is my first experience with CGM and I have to say so far I am impressed. And you're right the sensors are very expensive, but since insurance is picking up the entire cost, I am very lucky.
Permalink Reply by Unknown Diabetic on November 25, 2012 at 2:08pm Lucky you for the insurance company picking up everything.
