OMG... Me too! I have to say I have not found 1 that does everything that I want.

One of the complaints I have had with my Seven plus, is that I can not see info that I entered. For example I can not look up the last shot I gave myself, time and # of units, on the receiver. (Obviously I can download it later in the software).

Did they fix this in G4?

No, the G4 Events on the Receiver work the same way. The new Dex Studio software is improved, in that there is a report that shows a daily trend, w/the event details also shown.
The G4 does now show the insertion (sensor start) time, under the Settings-> Device info. This was a good improvement over Seven plus.

For recording insulin, carbs, etc, there are several meters that have that option, and many apps that I've seen discussions on. You can try a search for apps on this site. OnTrack is the only one I tried, but don't currently use.

There is a website www.glucosurfer.org that might be useful. I provided the founder with my system 7 xml data for him to use when he was developing the adapter for Dexcom. I have not used the site, so I do not know if it provides the features you desire.

You guys need to try ManageBGL.com. Imports from 7+ data formats (including Dexcom etc). Android app available, iphone app coming soon. Shares data live to other carers. Predicts BGLS into the future. Coaches you as to what ratios to change/what to fix - whenever you put in a BGL. Check it out!

Hallo Louis,

I have been using the Track 3 program on my iPhone quite successfully to count carbs for many foods, log everything, and to calculate insulin doses for my pump. It does NOT compensate for proteins, but is OK otherwise. There are many programs available for both Apple and Android devices, and I tried most of them. I have used Track 3 for about a year now and I am sticking with it.

As for your G4, be sure to download the user program from Dexcom. I run it on my Windows PC and it downloads all of the Dexcom data, number-crunches it, prints reports, etc. My endocrinologist can download the data as well thus we both can discuss the raw data, the notes, the curves, etc. from Dexcom G4.
