For users of a Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring ("CGM") device

Just as a reminder with the recent release of the new Dexcom G4 to the US market--it is NOT okay to post about previous models or older sensors as being 'for sale' on this site.

It is a violation of the Terms of Use because it is a prescription device, and any such efforts will unfortunately be removed.

We encourage you to donate supplies to non-profits such as the Charles Ray III Diabetes Association (http://www.cr3diabetes.org), which accepts unexpired glucometer and insulin pump supplies, or alternatively you may talk to your physician's office or other local medical group to discuss donating them to those in need of assistance.

Thank you all for kindly refraining from this activity.

Kate - WTG! Gives great readings for me, and lasts up to 3 weeks. Playing with my upper/inner arm now, and the readings are awesome. The only problem is I need someone willing to do it for me as I can't reach myself. Took advantage of family at Thanksgiving ;)

I got it, got the code yesterday in my junk email box, from CustomerVoice.

I haven't gotten mine even though I had the email and confirmation and all. But it did say it could be 2 to 4wks. Hope I get it.

It didn't let you give comments if I remember correctly. Questions and you had certain answers available. Kind of like agree / disagree and more or less kind of answers. Pretty boxy if you ask me.

I got it and haven't gotten a code yet. I hope I didn't delete it in spam lol

Comment by Laura on December 1, 2011 at 11:03am

No, but I'd sure love to get that! Lol I have comments galore.

Are you currently using, or have you ever used, a Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring device (CGM)? If so, we need your help. The Behavioral Diabetes Institute (BDI) is conducting one of the very first studies to investigate how CGM use affects quality of life, both positively and negatively. Our records indicate that you may be a potential candidate for this research. We encourage you to participate in this brief, anonymous survey, since your CGM experiences, whether they have been good or bad, will provide unique insights.

If you qualify and participate in this survey (it should only take 15 minutes or less), a $25 Amazon gift code will be awarded to you, good for any purchase on the Amazon.com website. However, you will need to complete this soon. Only a limited number of people will be allowed to complete the survey, and the study will be closed as soon as the necessary sample quota is met. So don’t delay.

^^^ thats what im refering to
