For users of a Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring ("CGM") device
Just as a reminder with the recent release of the new Dexcom G4 to the US market--it is NOT okay to post about previous models or older sensors as being 'for sale' on this site.
It is a violation of the Terms of Use because it is a prescription device, and any such efforts will unfortunately be removed.
We encourage you to donate supplies to non-profits such as the Charles Ray III Diabetes Association (http://www.cr3diabetes.org), which accepts unexpired glucometer and insulin pump supplies, or alternatively you may talk to your physician's office or other local medical group to discuss donating them to those in need of assistance.
Thank you all for kindly refraining from this activity.

Comment by Phil Lindner on June 9, 2013 at 8:09am It's sounds unusual that you say your BG flatlines on you Dexcom after taking Tylenol. From personal experience, and everything I've read, it has always caused false elevated readings.
What do you mean by "flatlines?"
Comment by Baby Tee on June 7, 2013 at 10:48pm My bg flatlines when I take Tylenol. It supposedly lasts until the tyenol is out of your system. I think it is about 6 to 8 hours for me.
I cannot take NSAIDS because of bad kidneys, so that limits pain meds.
Sure makes me miss the Navigator.
Comment by Natalie ._c- on June 5, 2013 at 12:07pm Leigh there is a way, but I don't want to talk about it publicly. Message me privately, please.
Comment by Leigh on June 5, 2013 at 11:15am I just got approved for the Dexcom. Yay! I'm changing from the mini-med CGM. I am a mac user. I understand that this only works with a PC. Is this true? Are there any mac users out there that can plug in the unit and download data to show charts, graphs, etc?
Comment by bort269 on June 3, 2013 at 12:59pm yeah, that thread should be a sticky :-)
Comment by Leigh on June 3, 2013 at 12:31pm Wow, thank you Bort269. I'm sold already. That's a no brainer. Thanks!!
Comment by bort269 on June 3, 2013 at 12:11pm Welcome Leigh!
This thread should answer a lot of your questions about why we love the G4 so much more than the Minimed CGM:
