For the last 3 mornings I have had nausea in the morning, yesterday I had to leave class and barely made it to the restroom to throw up. Last Sunday I started the second month on birth control pills and I am wondering if they are causing the nausea.

Have any of you experienced nausea from birth control pills?

See a doctor-Better yet, both of you should wear condoms. Investigate types of female condomns and talk w/ your GYN. Remember, don't make compromises for men. The balls in your park.
I'm only taking the BCD to regulate my periods. I'll call my doctor and ask her about the nausea .

I can't have children so birth control is unnecessary.
Me too, I like the progestrone only pills with metformin for the poly cystic and now at 45 I hit puberty again. lol
i.e... first time in life to have a 28 day cycle. Oh and never say never unless you are really sure. I have a 20 year old son (boy did I get lucky). I got pg on day 21-23 not day 14. I thought I had the flu (which I did with a high fever). None the less I was pregnant after years of no bc.
For the heck of it-- take a pregnancy test?? Otherwise, maybe you need to change your BCPs.
Hi! I was wondering how you were doing. I am guessing that you and Jimmy have ...you know...:) Hopefully, things are going well between you guys!

But yea, BCP can cause nausea. If you are unable to get pregnant than that will be it. But you never know - there have been woman they said couldn't get pregnant and bam. BCPs aren't 100% effective in that department for everyone - but I never had any problems when I was taking them.

Pregnancy tests are pretty cheap so just to be sure (if there is reason to take one) might as well.

It could take a month for the nausea to show up when you start taking them.
After I was injured, the doctor told me I could never get pregnant except through In Vitro Fertilisation. It is possible he was wrong??? I was also taking the BCP so there is almost no chance I am pregnant. If I was, it would be wonderful, well wonderful because the doctor was wrong, not wonderful to be pregnant at this time. Besides, I had my period last week and started the new BCP cycle this past Sunday.
Umm...one other thought...you are really young for this but early morning nausea not due to high fasting BS could be due to gallbladder problems.
I called my GYN doctor, she said it could be the BCP or maybe I caught a bug. I have been a little congested so maybe that's it.

Today I didn't have any nausea so maybe it's passed. My mother had her gall bladder removed, maybe it runs in the family. I hope that's not it, I've had enough operations to last a life time.
me too! hope you continue to feel better...happy friday!
