I STILL HAVE MY GLASS SYRINGE BUT NO NEEDLE.I REMEMBER IT WAS VERY LONG.IT ALL HAD TO BE BOILED BEFORE EACH USE.WOW.WE'VE COME A LONG WAY.:)...HAVEN'T WE!

I vaguely remember hearing about a *reusable* blood glucose strip meter that Eli Lily had.. dont remember the name, but it had a bit of maintenence involved.. Anyone have any pictures or used one of these..

I have a question: Did someone know what was happening in World War 2 about European (from France, Belgium...) diabetics (type 1) who were using insulin from USA or under a licence from USA?

Hey Danny I would love to see those pictures too! As we all know I took Type 1 in 73 but didn't take any pics from that time. Didn't want to admit to myself I had diabetes but this is a GREAT idea! Where as I tried to be "normal" maybe some other took pics then and can bring back some memories for me!
