howdy all!

I am looking for a new Endocrinologist. I would like any suggestions of good Dr's in the Houston/Conroe area. I might be willing to drive to Austin for a good one, too. Thanks for your thoughts! ;-)

Phillip Orlander at UT in the Med Center is mine. He is fantastic, could not recommend him highly enough! 832.325.7161
I see Dr. Shu at the Baylor Clinic in the Med Center. I love that their is very little waiting at appointment times. Also, they use MyChart (an online charting system), so you can view your own test results, request refills, and also communicate with your doctor. I love that I can upload my numbers, and Dr. Shu is quick to respond with the appropriate adjustments.
I saw Dr. Swarna Kamble out of Kelsey-Seybold for a few years, Myriah. She's understanding, spends quite a bit of time with you in appointments, and doesn't make you feel as guilty as some doctors can.
this is late, but thanks for ya'lls replies! ;-)
Diabetes Center Of America.....HWY 1960 & Fallbrook I love that place!
Dr. Tiana Shiver of Memorial Herman Medical Group.....She is the best I have ever been to and I have been diagnosed for coming up on 20 years. She is located on Holcombe in the medical center so it might be too far of a drive.
Best of luck,
Derrick
May I suggest Dr. Howard Wilson 713-523-9508. He's good. Been seeing him since 1981. Ask for David and let him know I sent you.

Hi, i'm also looking for Endo near Houston. are any of theses Dr's mentioned prescribe to a low carb diet? I really want someone who follows my diet. thanks
Mary

Dr. Roy Ferrer, who practices at Kelsey Seybold clinic (spring medical and diagnostic), is really great. I have been going to him for almost a year and he is very friendly and listens to what I have to say.
