Hey Andy,

I'm in Little Elm. We love Austin & the Hill Country, San Antonio and the coast.
I stay in san antonio.origanally from new orleans.
I am in Snyder. Halfway between Abilene and Lubbock.
I'm in Goliad. I have lived in Bryan/ College Station, Houston/ Kingwood, and Victoria! I love to visit Austin, Houston, SA, College Station, Galveston, Hill Country and a lot of other places I cant think of right now (:
Grew up in Plano but now live in Kyle which is about 15 minutes south of Austin. Hubby's from Rockport so we love to visit the coast. We also like to camp in the Hill Country and in Canyon.
I am from Seguin. Good to see all you fellow Texans on here!
I'm from Houston area. For mail, the PO insists I live in Cypress, but ya know, it's still Houston really, all over. I've been here for 30 years, lived several other states before.

I missed the last walk for diabetes for this area, I wasn't well informed. Hope this year I find out when so I can join.
Wichita Falls Here
I live in Abilene, Texas. Was born and raised in Baytown, east of Houston. Have been a diabetic for over 20 years and have some of the side effects of it that show. I have had 3 heart attacks, a by-pass, bones removed from my foot that were infected. Luckily I can still get out of bed every morning and take a deep breath!

Finally found a Dr. here that saw from my sugar levels that I needed to be on a pump. My levels were in the 400 to 500 range for a long time. Other Dr's wanted me to take more insulin and were going to add oral meds to the mix. I was taking 12 shots a day and said enough is enough. I went to the other endo here in Abilene, we only have 2, and he immediately put me on a pump. Have been pumping now for a month and my sugars are down to the 75-125 range. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not an oncoming train anymore!
Howdy fellow Texans ;) and everyone else!!!
I'm about 15 miles south of Houston.
I live in East Fort Worth and work in South Dallas. My parents live in Whitney, TX. My dad and I hunt around the Snyder, TX area.
Living in Flower Mound. Love Hill Country. Originally from NYC, then New Jersey, Maryland, now TX...Got here as fast as I could!
