Although some of us have kidney problems, I am so happy to see that membership in this group is growing slowly!!!

Hi Advocator. What is your treatment for your diabetes? Sometimes medication and diet can be very difficult. Especially when you have gotten used to being able to eat properly again after kidney failure. Don't be afraid of insulin. It can be a wonderful tool. Feel free to ask lots of questions.

Hi! My name is Linda and I had a kidney transplant 7/05. A few years later I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and am having a hard time bringing my numbers down. I find myself coping with the transplant easier than the diabetes. I is so good to find a group that supports both situations in one group. Thank you for having me!

I have been diabetic for 46 years. In 1995, I was diagnosed with Alpha1 liver disease and had a transplant in 1997. Is there anyone who has had a liver transplant?
