I was working out of my office at home, on the second floor. I didn't feel a thing! I didn't even know about it until about 4 p.m. when my usband got home.

I was downtown Toronto on the 6th floor of my building, standing and talking to a couple of co-workers. I heard (felt?) a low thud and felt rather dizzy like my footing or vision was rather unsteady. Because nobody else I was talking to said anything - I thought it was just me or something heavy was being pushed by in the corridor outside the office. But not so. Many people in my building felt it, and they evacuated a few buildings across the street from us (I think supreme paranoia because of the upcoming G20 in Toronto that they thought it was an explosion of some kind in the first few minutes).

I had been up all night so I made my Hubby breakfast and his lunch for work. Then I went to bed about 9:00 am. I'm a deep sleeper.

About 1:40 p.m. our bedroom window had started rattling and then the whole wall started shaking. This woke me up and I thought it was a Bad wind storm.

First I jumped out of bed and scrunched under the overhang of our waterbed at the foot of the bed. Then I thought, "Crap". I ran into the alcove where our Bunny was sleeping in her cage near another window. I grabbed her and ran down the stairs and stood in the living room doorway away from windows. Then it was over Thank God. (I couldn't have done these fast movements without my increased steroids).

I believe I heard that People couldn't use their cells because of the amount of People calling their Family and Friends about the quake at that time. Thank God for landlines.

This is where the quake happened about 80.0 km(80 minute drive) from us.

I think I heard that only one Person was injured. He was fishing off a bridge and it collapsed.

I know this is an old post, but I will respond. lol. I was at work, when someone came up and said turn on the news there was an earthquake. lol didn't feel a thing.
