I found several caches in FL. this spring but haven't had time this summer. I am going to try to get some this fall. I do enjoy finding new places off the beaten path.

Planning on hiking through a state park tomorrow and grabbing several caches. Looking forward to the hike since it has been several weeks since I was able take a whole day to cache since my work schedule has been busy.

My wife and I have been caching since October, currently using the IPhone app and it works well. We are looking for a good handheld for the summer. We are Mike_Jen on the geocaching site and we are an ever growing and changing team called Team Purple Nature Ninjas...the little kids call it treasure hunting and they are great for hunting down the nano caches!!!!

Just went over 500, my wife is luke warm over it. She was with me for about a dozen of them. I try to fit it in when we are not doing anything, sometimes I get carried away and have to get "just one more" so I end up late. I like it because it sort of "secret". I get to walk a lot, solve puzzles, get out doors and see parts of my own city that I did not know existed. My brother got into it just last May and he already is past me -- he is crazy over it. I haven't been to any of the gatherings; I just like to solitude (although my brother and I have taken road-trips just to see how many we can bag). It is easy to do; a small investment of about $100 for a GPS (you can use the car kind but be sure you can enter coordinates - even better if you can upload them from your computer), and that is it. I just passed 1,000 finds last month. Next week, I will have all the find icons when I visit the GPS Adventure maze in Arkansas. October will also be my fifth anniversary of geoecaching. :)
