Hi, I'm a fairly recently diagnosed type one. I both knit and crochet. My latest obsession is hand knit socks.

Check out Etsy before you make a lot of hats for sale, there is usually a lot of easy to make stuff for sale there. Bet they are nice and warm for you and your family.

Well I don't "actually" knit. I have a knitting loom. I've been making tons of scarves and hats. If I can get some pictures, I'm thinking of putting them for sale on etsy. I made a bunch of boas for the girls in an orphanage in Thailand. Great fun!

I don't know how to knit yet but i'm a biginner crochetter. It don't take long for me to learn a new pattern, I just need to learn from a patient person and be patient with myself

I would love to join in......when I can! I'm self employed,and lately always trying to figure out how to make money. That has really set my hobbies and interests to the side. I want very very much to learn to knit and crochet (well) and to do some writing. If you dont mind, I'll join up and see how things go.......
I'm sure to be able to learn from someone here!

Oops! I didn't mean to add my entire group of photographs...couldn't up-load from my computer. It kept buffering. But perhaps you all won't mind since most of the pictures are of knitting projects, The pictures that I initially intended are of the up-side down daisy hat and the beautiful (IMHO) baby sweater from Oat Couture.

Well, I guess this group is not really taht active! I knit a lot of prayer shawls for my church.and for loved ones going through difficult times....it's really more a meditative and prayerful practice for me...but I am working on a toddler cardigan at the moment, too. Thank to the person who started this!!!
