Type I Diabetes Informational Event at Saint Xavier University on February 7th, 2009

COMMIT-TED has organized an informational event for parents and caregivers of children with Type I diabetes.

For the Type I diabetes community, this is an opportunity to connect with other families, and learn more about the resources available to your child. This program is designed for adults and teens only, to provide optimum learning and interaction without distraction.

The event will cover a range of topics including technology, care programs, camps, and the upcoming Children With Diabetes conference.

Where: Saint Xavier University, Butler Reception Room, 3700 W. 103rd Street, Chicago, IL

I was pregnant while having type 2. I lost it. The doctors here on the army post were clueless how to take care of a woman with type 2. I was 20 weeks along and I lost her at my son's second birthday party.

Is anyone out there a type 2 diabetic and thinking about pregnancy? Or did you have type 2 when you were pregnant? I am looking to interview a woman with type 2 for an article called, "Planning a Pregnancy" for Diabetes Health. Please respond to this message if you are interested in sharing your success story.
Thank you!!
Amy
