Hello everone! My name is Terra. I am mother of 2 and I have Type II. I lost my mom at age 12 to Type I due to kidney failure. Lets just say she did not take care of herself, thus lost the battle.
Medicine has come a LONG way since 1985. I want to watch my children grow up , graduate, get married, have babies and enjoy every minute of this with them. Everything happens for a reaso, and I can either let this disease define me or take control of it and be happy and healthy.

I have emotional issues, I will not lie. Although, I hope to find friendship and support to ease the pain and be encouraged and inspired by others!

Hi everyone, I'm Lisa. From MN, living in Argentina with my husband, 3-1/2 year old, two Pugs and TTC #2 soon. It's my 10 year anniversary with diabetes this October. I'm looking forward to getting this group more active!!

LOL! Hi, Linda! :D

To add who I am:

HI GUYS! I'm Rosie, a currently-30-year-old (my 31st birthday is the 21st of April) that has an 11yo daughter (Em) and a wonderful husband. We live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and have six rabbits and two cats. So, in my eyes, I have NINE KIDS! :D
