If you live in China, Taiwan or Japan (speak English) and have diabetes, this group may very well be the place where you can meet other people just like you.

Comment by TheTurtleMoves on May 8, 2013 at 4:42pm I am, also, not living in Asia and have joined this group to ask questions.
I'm working with Ayogo Health developing apps to help families and kids who struggle with Diabetes and we're trying to find out what the experience of a kid with T1D is at school.
Is there support from school staff? Nurses? Does family have to come to school to help out?
What about the social aspect? I've heard a lot about how having Diabetes can count against you when it comes to post-secondary education and employment, but what about with friends?
Apologies if I'm being nosy. The more we understand the challenges, the better we will be able to help families address them!
