Just wondering if there's anyone out there in "Tu ville" that is living in Quebec.

A "meating" point?? What the heck is THAT?? Is it a corner of the deli where you order your pastrami on rye?? Tskk...and to think I also teach a component of English!!! Shameful!!! I know....let's blame it on a low ;p

Well....I was rather disappointed!! I had SO looked forward to it :( Nothing much going on while we were there (in the day time), but made up for it by a little sightseeing and soaking in some jazz at a bistro with the gang. Discovered some yummy unoaked wine. Picked up a few things and went back to my sister's place. It was SO SO hot that it became unpleasant....so eventually we retreated to the underground. Sorry lot of sweaty little moles. Had a scrumptious dinner at my sister's. We arrive around noon, and were back in Ottawa around midnight. Next time, you and I and whom ever else will set up a meating point downtown.

Hey Linda - we didn't get a chance this year to go to the Montreal Jazz Festival- which kinda sucks - especially since I am a big fan of Sade - and we had a free performance of B52's on Monday as well to end the festival with a bang. Hopefully next year! Next time you're in Montreal - let me know - would love to meet up with you !

Hi Anna....will be on Parliament Hill tomorrow...WOO HOO. I'm visiting a brother and his wife in Ottawa. Saturday will be in Montréal to visit a sister and youngest brother, going to the jazz festival!
Are you going also?
Take care, and enjoy your "glace bicolore" :)

Many thanks DHF Canada Embassy - same back at you. We're heading off in our sailboat to watch fireworks - and have a dessert of strawberries and ice cream tomorrow evening - the colours of our Canadian flag!!!!
