NYC Marathon was incredible!!! I loved it! Definitely one of the coolest experiences of my life. The weather was perfect, the spectators were amazing and I was well prepared for the race. I didn't have any trouble with electrolytes this time but a little trouble with sugar. BG was 45 at the finish but overall I felt great and had an awesome time! Thanks for all the encouragement! This one is for you guys!

Made a mistake this morning and bolused before my run, went low but got out of it in time to save my run.
@Brian - How did it go, are you okay?

Great time and great job on your BG! I have those same emotional waves all the time, "it's low but is it too low" situations and all that and its really hard to avoid overtreating but a gel seems to be a nice big slug of carbs and sounds like it worked great for you!

Sorry to hear junior doesn't like his new diet. I'd recommend "Game of Thrones" for an entertaining example of a 6 year-old being nursed, until...well, I don't want to toss out any spoilers? hee hee...

Thank you! I am running to help support an amazing non profit called First Descents. FD provides outdoor adventure programs for young adult cancer survivors (including myself).
