AR, I don't think "bonking" is blood sugar related. Maybe more lactic acid build up.

RE: Team Wild, $600 for a training plan? OUCH!

Happy New Year all! Please go out and represent.

Re "not having diabetes", I suspect that a lot of "straight" people without diabetes would benefit from having a CGM when they are training as a "bonkometer"?

Happy holidays everyone! I have decided to run 40kms to celebrate my 40th birthday on April 1, along with a few halves throughout the year. A bunch of crazy Canadians are coming down to run a half in Napa Valley, CA in July. Anyone else doing it?

one more thing - I wish us all a year of easy BG control so we can run as if we don't have diabetes

I ran my last 2011 run on Friday - 15 miles. It was terrible. Hope 2012 runs are better.
I'll be running my first marathon of 2012 in a week and a half. Hope to break all my PR this year and maybe even fit 3 marathons in.
Good luck to all of you and thanks for all your help and support
Happy New Year!!!

Definitely happy running to everyone! I just got back from the last run of 2011 and am looking forward to a fun year of it in 2012 and hope that everyone else stays healthy, has smooth BG management and PRs all over the place!
