Took a nice face plant 2.5 miles into my 11 miler yesterday while visiting my in-laws in Ft. Myers...scraped up my hands and got a nice strawberry on my chin! The good news is not only did I finish the run but I ran with my glucometer for the first time and had a good blood sugar one hour into my run.

Just joined tudiabetes b/c I was looking for info on diabetics running marathons. I have done a few halves (PR-1:56:24) and plan on doing Chicago for my first full in October.I still need to join a charity (with my brother) since the registration is full...I'll be reading everything I can and thank the group in advance.
