Comment by Med on January 29, 2013 at 1:33pm Huge congratulations to our own Jerry Nairn for another successful marathon!
Comment by Jerry Nairn on December 26, 2012 at 9:43pm Best wishes for you and your baby, Kasey! Sorry you won't be racing for a little while, but I'm sure you'll be back at it soon.
Comment by acidrock23 on December 26, 2012 at 4:15pm There was a lady in Chicago in 2011 who finished and went directly to the delivery room. I thought I read somewhere that the labor was like 1/2 hour so she may have been on to something!?
MrsAcidRock offered a trip to any 1/2 I want for Xmas. does anybody have any favorites, local or otherwise? I was sort of going to lay off 26.2 for a while but then learned we're having the inaugural Naperville, IL Marathon this year so maybe I'll run that one, it's like a mile from my house. After I get home from my trip.
Comment by Kasey on December 26, 2012 at 1:27pm I was told after the TC 10 mile that I cant do any races until my baby comes, just numbers are just too crazy on race day. I was a little bummed as I was hoping to be one of those super pregnant people running marathons (no joke, I think they are awesome). I am sure a 5k or something would be fine though. Either way - keep posting about your adventures, its fun to live vicariously through all of you!

Comment by drsoosie on December 4, 2012 at 6:38pm Yay Dane!!! We are all so proud of you!!! Let's face it....running in the heat sucks pure and simple. It's tires you, drains you and for me takes the joy out of it. I hope and pray when I run in Arizona (the desert ...what was I thinking???) that it is cool.
