Huge congratulations to our own Jerry Nairn for another successful marathon!

Best wishes for you and your baby, Kasey! Sorry you won't be racing for a little while, but I'm sure you'll be back at it soon.

There was a lady in Chicago in 2011 who finished and went directly to the delivery room. I thought I read somewhere that the labor was like 1/2 hour so she may have been on to something!?

MrsAcidRock offered a trip to any 1/2 I want for Xmas. does anybody have any favorites, local or otherwise? I was sort of going to lay off 26.2 for a while but then learned we're having the inaugural Naperville, IL Marathon this year so maybe I'll run that one, it's like a mile from my house. After I get home from my trip.

I was told after the TC 10 mile that I cant do any races until my baby comes, just numbers are just too crazy on race day. I was a little bummed as I was hoping to be one of those super pregnant people running marathons (no joke, I think they are awesome). I am sure a 5k or something would be fine though. Either way - keep posting about your adventures, its fun to live vicariously through all of you!

Yay Dane!!! We are all so proud of you!!! Let's face it....running in the heat sucks pure and simple. It's tires you, drains you and for me takes the joy out of it. I hope and pray when I run in Arizona (the desert ...what was I thinking???) that it is cool.

I was just reading back about 13 or 14 pages...the electrolyte pills given to me were the s-caps that Drsusie mentioned. I think they really helped me finish the race!

Way to go!! Not every race is perfect. You pushed through it, and that's all that matters. My BS got really low during Chicago(40). Cost me 15 minutes, but you live and learn. Again, great job!!!!
