Just for ony one on here who dosen't know.
There is a group "single Diabetics" on here, that seems to be more active than this group, and really about the same topic.
You all probably know that but I just thought I'd make sure you do.

Forgot to say - I am from Coral Springs, Florida.
Widow. 62, which is the new 52 - diabetic for 25 years - just went on the Omnipod pump.
And, will post a photo as soon as I figure out how to do it.

I think it would be fabulouse to be involved with a Man who was diabetic (assuming all other things were interesting). I mean just as you wouldn't go out with someone just for his money - you wouldn't get involved with someone just cause has diabetes.
But it would add a great dimension to the relationship.
I am currently on a dating website - and I put it in my profile that I'd have Type I and would love to talk to others who do.
I heard from one man who said he also was type I - but controled it with food & pills.... I didn't have the heart to tell he he only has type II.
Anyway - I am very glad to find this forum.
