If you need help now, DIAL 911

If you need someone to talk to, check out the Phone Numbers at Suicide Hotlines, United States Hotlines, and International Hotlines

If you are not in immediate danger because of thoughts of suicide, but need someone to talk with about your suicidal feelings, please do not hesitate to call one of the following national suicide prevention lines:

1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)

1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255)

You may call these suicide prevention numbers from anywhere in the United States, 24 hours a day. People are waiting to help you. Call a suicide prevention number right now if you need to. And always remember that it is never okay to act on your thoughts of suicide. Never. Again, call a suicide prevention number now if you need to.

Never act on your thoughts of suicide.

The reason MOST of us fight, is that we cannot see a good alternative. Some of us have reasons to go on, like knowing how our family would feel, if we tried the penultimate solution.
Mike: I have a brother who lives in Edmonton, just off of Jasper Street. I used to live up there as well. Didn't like the winters. Chaplain ET

A starting point for climbing out of depression. Take the first step and take a read. Just take it one small step at a time.

I actually have Bi-polar disorder. Depression is half the battle for me, though I get more depressed than manic. I'm glad to be here.

My panics and shaking were WORSE until I was put on Metaformin. My depression has eased a bit, since I am on thyroid medication..May I suggest everyone who can afford it, getting their thyroid levels checked? It may help the depression to give your endocrine system a boost. I also take DHEA which helps greatly..hang in there..

I have been using the Fisher Wallace Stimulator for about a week. I have noticed a difference starting today in terms of lifting my depression. It is the most inexpensive non-medication method for treating depression that I know of. It is hard to get it covered by insurance. Here is the link:
If it does not work for you in 60 days, they will refund your money minus 10 %. It also works as a treatment for chronic pain.

Brea: I got the pump about 3 months ago and my A1C has dropped from over 12 to 7.2. A few weeks ago, my depression meds were dropped from three antidepressants to ONE at half the former dose. I can't prove a connection, but I pray your depression will also respond to better bG numbers!
