Nov 1 marked two years since my sister Cindy gave me her left kidney. It is now hooked up in me on my right side just below the waist and about 3/4 of an inch deep. It works really well. Cindy gave me such a gift.

Just made 5 months last week.
I know this is an old discussion. Just wondering how everyone is managing with the kidney transplant 4 years later. Hope everyone is doing well.
Congratulations. My cousin gave me a kidney and it will be 9 years in October. She gave it to me on her birthday, if you can believe it. May you have many decades ahead of you with your precious gift.

My sister's kidney is still working find in me. Time travels quickly often in my life.

So good to hear this Steve. :)
