Comment by Baby Tee on March 3, 2013 at 9:21pm I guess I don't qualify for this anymore.
I dropped to 1000 mg sodium/day in Jan 2012. Now my eGFR is 44. It has been over 30 since April 2012. The doc said that 1000 mg/day was too low, but I wanted to try it, and it worked for me. Just have to be really careful of my blood pressure.
Comment by Baby Tee on February 27, 2012 at 10:24pm GFR floating between 17 and 28 since Sept 2011. It is very lonely and frustrating. I go to work each day and just want to lay in bed all weekend and every night. I force myself to walk, because that is the one thing that acutally keeps me from having infant feet (you know, the fat feet from swellign so much, they look like an infant). Ugh. I suppose it is keeping me more positive, but the exhaustion is still overwhelming.
Then my family wants me to drive 2 to 2 1/2 hours each way to visit them and I hate to sit that long in a car, and they don't understand how miserable I feel.
Thanks for letting me complain. = ) Nobody around me wants to hear it. I guess I wouldn't either.
Sorry you guys have had to go through this. Hope everything went well, Melanie.
