The admin team bans spammers as soon as they can. Always let the admin team know about spam using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any TuDiabetes page. I see that the Walmart ad person has already been banned!

Someone from this group (Diagnosed in our 20s) keeps sending spam to my email. While I like the discussions in this forum I am dropping out of the group because I do not wish to receive spam (the latest some ad for Walmart). This is not why I joined up!

At Janina No I lost 100lbs in two months.Was on MDI for 4 years.then the pump.Yes daily dose droped a lot.My BG was almost 800 when i was Tested the first time!

Tim you must have meant lost 10 lbs in 2 months. Did you end up gaining it back?
Did you go on MDI first? When you switched to the pump did you experience a lower need for your total daily dose? If you started with a pump it wouldn't apply.

I was 24 when ai found out I was type 1.Lost about 100lb in two months .

Hi everyone! I was diagnosed about 4 months ago with Type 1 and rushed to the hospital with DKA. I am 29 yrs old, no one in my family has it, and everyone around me has been shocked to find out I have it. It is a roller coaster ride thats for sure...ran into another type 1 at the pharmacy..and she suggested this site. It has been helpful and some good advice. Thanks!
