I love acting and everything to do with it, so what does everyone who watched think about The Emmys this year?

I taped it and so I have not watched it all as I got home to see about the last fifty minutes or so. I always love to remember and pay tribute to the ones we lost this past year and of course thought the song "I will remember you..." was a perfect touch this year.

I knew one of my favorite actors would not win, since this is his first nomination--Simon Baker. (Personally I think he needs to do a better job in his more emotional scenes.) I've been taping (well, DVRing) his movies this summer and I really loved "Something New"! It was very well written and acted! It's about a black woman who falls in love with a white man (and we diabetics thought we had problems....!!! LOL!!!!)

I was not at all surprised Glen Close won for best actress. She is one of the best and those nominated are all good, but not close enough to her. Take her out of the running and it will be another actress....

Strips.... since I haven't seen all of the Emmy show yet, I will give a 4 out of 5 for now.

And you?

Rebecca:

i did nto get to see the Emmy's, but I heard Neil Patrick Harris did a wonderful job. I understand that several folks were saying he was the best Emmy host ever. Now, I was watching curb your enthusiasm and I can honestly say it was one of the best Curb's I have seen in some time. If you get a chance let us know what you thought of the Emmy's?

Well, I can see, based on the responses of two people, that people are more into watching movies, than the Emmys!!! LOL!! That's okay, I love both! Rebecca [;D
