I'm enjoying reading everyone's review of little known movies. I try to hit about a movie each week or two, but lately I've been checking out the blockbusters like Iron Man 3, Star Trek 2 and Fast and the Furious 6. Man, there is a trend there. I hate to review the biggies just cause they are all fun to watch and pretty much all good. I'll check back in later this week with a review of Epic.

How is everyone feeling about the rebooted group? I hope you are enjoying some of the off beat scripts and commentary and please, if you see a movie (video or screen) and wish to comment please do. It is your comments that makes this group special.

I'm an old fogie with you. Love films & am eager to be wowed & challenged, though it rarely happens. Last one that bowled me over was Beasts of the Southern Wild.

As we rev up again, my dears, is it going to be okay to talk about movies as they come out on DVD in terms like "this moved me a lot but not sure why?"....Layman's emotional reactions, in other words. As I said, I seldom get to theaters anymore, but I am an avid reader of reviews so I don't waste our retirement dollars on DVDs I might not care for!.....Blessings...

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
