I was wondering if anyone has recently tried to register for the diabetes forum linked from Dr. Bernstein's Website and got a banned notification?
This is the first time that I have ever even tried registering for this forum ever.

Permalink Reply by Negg on January 9, 2013 at 12:18am i think they are having a problem - it happened to me, and after a few days i got a personal email explaining this, and they logged me in.
Permalink Reply by Brian (bsc) on January 9, 2013 at 5:18am I have been a member there for a long time. I know the administrator there and there do appear to have been some issues, but they have not figured out what is going on. The forum has implemented stronger methods to prevent spamming and it may be that some of those methods are blocking legitimate registrants.
In the meantime, you can send an email message to sign-up-help at diabetes-book.com. Mention you problem and provide:
Your desired log in name.
Your desired user name, must be different from log in name.
Your desired email address.
They will set up your account and email you a temporary password and instructions how to change you password when you first log in.
If you continue to have problems, please send me a private message and I'll help you work through it.
Permalink Reply by CaryJ on January 9, 2013 at 10:02am I tried to register too and the same thing happened. I just tried a few minutes ago. I had been meaning to apply to the forum before, but this discussion reminded me. I've never gotten banned before - and so quickly. I'll try again later on using Brian's directions.
