I have had a login since 2007 and I got in just fine. I did have someone contact me recently that was trying to create an account from outside of the US and got a banned notification.

i think they are having a problem - it happened to me, and after a few days i got a personal email explaining this, and they logged me in.

I have been a member there for a long time. I know the administrator there and there do appear to have been some issues, but they have not figured out what is going on. The forum has implemented stronger methods to prevent spamming and it may be that some of those methods are blocking legitimate registrants.

In the meantime, you can send an email message to sign-up-help at diabetes-book.com. Mention you problem and provide:

Your desired log in name.
Your desired user name, must be different from log in name.
Your desired email address.

They will set up your account and email you a temporary password and instructions how to change you password when you first log in.

I tried to register too and the same thing happened. I just tried a few minutes ago. I had been meaning to apply to the forum before, but this discussion reminded me. I've never gotten banned before - and so quickly. I'll try again later on using Brian's directions.
