I woke up after a night where I know I was tossing and turning bad, and my blood sugar was in the 190-200 range again, but I was really thirsty, like I was before I was diagnosed.

Has anyone waking up dry on a CPAP and having high sugars tried a large glass of water before bed without getting up at night? Will that be enough? I'm calling my endo's office and my sleep lab today to try to get an answer.

Aaron, Yes I coulodn't live without my heated humidifier!! The biotine stuff does help, but it is short lived help. My water container is so small on my machine though that it woiuld run out during the night and I wouldn't wake up enough to get sense enough to either shut my mouth or pour more water in--LOL--but I cobbled together another water container with a short piece of hose that is a second water container so if the first one runs out it takes over. I have it wrapped up in a heating pad to keep it warm as well. Isn't it amazing what we can "invenT?" I'm a nurse myself (retired) so that makes me that much more of an inventer.

The first machine I had was 2 x the size of the bi-pap I have now but the water container was much bigger too. I used it for 6-7 years and then it just wore out and died.

Thanks for the link.
