I have to find out about the similarities and differences of child care and parenting practices in a country outside of the United States. Please answer as much information of your knowledge of another country, as you can and email it back by this Thursday March 1st. Thank you for your help!
Some topics to include
- Parent-child relationship
- Parental nurture/warmth
- Parenting style
- Discipline practices
- Parent-child communication
- The role of the child within the family
- Child care arrangements (in the first few years and later)
- The educational experience
- Educational structure
- Child-teacher relationship
- Parent-teacher communication

Permalink Reply by muleman on February 28, 2012 at 8:45am Sorry cannot help you. If you could make a form so that we could write something against each question or use a yes no system, that would speed things up. We have a great deal of experience in Europe but little time! I have 127 emails today needing responses of different kinds. regards.
Permalink Reply by Anne on February 28, 2012 at 11:25am I'd really like to help you but the way the questions are asked I'd have to write novels to answer them! You set a very wide frame.
Something more lie a Q & A would be better, the answers would also be easier to compare and that's what you are supposed to do, aren't you? You'll have to get a little more specific about what you need to know...
The most simple answer I can give you is: There isn't "the one style of education" in most countries.
