Very nice Kelly, we weren't so lucky, had to correct a morning high (going to work on son's basal rate today) and after the big meal there was too many tempting treats he wanted to try, didn't bolus the early enough for it all, but his numbers weren't out of the ballpark either, just lingered in 150s for longer than I like. :) Hope everyone had Merry Christmas and since it's still Hannukah, I'm making latkes tonight, I've only made them once before, hope they turn out. Happy Hannukah to our Jewish folks. :)

I detailed what happened to my BG in a blog, so won't repeat, but it didn't turn out as horrific as I'd thought.
Planning to make zucchini latkes tonight, as they didn't have ANY special food for Hanukah on the cruise. Bah!
Permalink Reply by acidrock23 on December 27, 2011 at 7:40am Wow! That's awesome!! I especially like that you were able to run low without rebounding, which seemed to be a bit of a problem for me, perhaps treating with cake balls instead of skittles? I am hoarding jelly beans too, saving them for running as the grocery store has been out since before Thanksgiving. Great job though!

Permalink Reply by jrtpup on January 11, 2012 at 6:01am That little red X in a square you get when the pic that's supposed to be there can't be found.

This is my first post (to anywhere on tudiabetes!) so forgive me if I mess it up--and moderators, feel free to remove/relocate as necessary! Since the start of the new year I've been working on getting a "flat line" and this one, while not exactly flat, is the best I've been able to do over a 12 hour period thus far. The rise at the end, btw, was due to my breakfast at 7:30am. Wish I would have been able to take the photo before then!

Permalink Reply by jrtpup on January 10, 2012 at 8:22pm Congrats on the first post Niko, hope we'll be seeing more from you! That's a pretty straight flat line. What are the upper/lower levels set for?
No post again from me today, it's been one of the worst days I've had in ages, still have that residual headache from the climbs, plunges, and adrenaline-generating lows ;(
Permalink Reply by Niko on January 10, 2012 at 8:55pm I had to check the settings to see what the upper/lower settings were at. They were set for 80-200 but I just reset them at 80-180. I've definitely had the rollercoasters, so I was pleased to see that everything fell within the two lines regardless of how far apart they were! :-)
