Esjay, any time my Navigator cgms and my Omnipod Freestyle meter don't match, I wash my hands and try testing again on the PDM. 99 times out of 100, the problem was on my hands and not with the machine.

every meter on the market has its aim at one person or another - I find for myself that the freestyle meters in general have the best to offer me, I've never had an issue with any of mine and I've had great service from abbott to boot. My meter is as close as can be to the labs and its calibrated ever time I have a visit and its not been wrong yet.

Excuse the rant - I have a low blood sugar and am annoyed. I tested with my freestyle meter which told me I was 97. I tested again b/c I felt low. 99. Ok, fine. Sometimes we feel low when we're not, right? My CGM says I am 61 and dropping so maybe I'm on my way down. I test a third time with my ultra mini. 56. UGH! I really feel like my freestyle meter is off maybe 15-20% of the time. It's so annoying. But I'm on the omnipod, so this is the meter I'm stuck with most of the time. Thanks for listening to a low blood sugar rant! Off to find some dextose...

I'm actually pretty impressed with the freedom lite. It's small, AND accurate, and has a back light... Unlike the One Touch Ultra Mini which was always off of other tests, and other meters by 30-60+ points. I know some of the Accuchecks look real nice, but I've heard a LOT of people on our site say they don't like them, they score too high, or they are so off all the time... so I dunno... and well, they don't give anything away, either. lol I'm too broke to go spend money on meters, when many good ones are given away free.

Just spoke with Abbott Tech Support. As of this time there is no support for the connector cable for 64-bit operating systems and no timeframe for when they will be available.

Been using the Freestyle mini since i was told i was diabetic .. I get a new meter every other month when I get my test strips (each 100 pack comes with a free monitor), latest one was not the mini but the freestyle lite (prefer my mini, but hay no coding is nice)

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
