For our Glucosurfer project I am working on an App for Android 2.2. The set of features is exactly the same as in the App for Windows Phone 7:

-full management of diary
-bolus wizard
-insulin on board
-carb search in Wolfram Alpha
-serving size calculator
-photos from meals (not implemented yet)

I have no physical device at hand - just the emulator. Thus your help is highly appreciated. If you have an Android device would you test my App and give me valuable feedback? It is not intended to be used on tablets I have to add. I am still working on the important points to test and the first version should be ready at the end of this week.

Holger,
I'm an Android app developer with quite a bit of experience. I'd be glad to help out. Initially I can do some testing on my device, but I might even be able to help with some of the programming. I posted a message to the Glucosurfer web site; please get in touch.
Eric

Thanks for offering me your support. I will reply your mail soon...

I would love to test your application, I have multiple android devices. And I would love to try it.

Hi Allen, I have sent you a friend request. You can find the current app here:

Free:
http://www.glucosurfer.org/App/Android/Glucosurfer.apk

Google Market:
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.glucosurfer.glucosurferapp

Sure! I'd love to help you! I have an Android device :)

Hi there,

I have done abit of android development and have a couple of devices, so am more than happy to test it.

Hi, sure I'll help you test it. Where can I get the app? BTW I'm a systems administrator and glad I just happened upon this group!

I'm giving it a shot on my droid 2. So far it seems to work!

Thanks for the feedback. Due to some problems in Android 2.2 we have not managed to get the image from the camera. You can take a shot and you will see the image but it will not be appended to the diary.

For the next version we are working on a widget showing the proportional trend. With this widget you will get informed early when the control deteriorates. We are also working on a new feature. Maybe you would like to join the discussion about it...
