I forgot to tell you all that Stevie took 2 blues and a red in his second test - one of the blues was in a jumping class and he'd only ever gone over the poles once before! The judge said his jumps were "sloppy" but he got the ribbon because he did what he was asked to do when every other horse in the ring balked or shied at something.

Stevie was showing at training level, yes. That was his first show ever under saddle, and he took it like a pro. His trainer says usually she's happy if the horse just stays in the ring, never mind scoring 67% (would've been a 70% but he stopped to poop in front of the judges' stand at the very end of his ride).

Elizabeth, If any of your horses go missing, don't look here!! Stevie looks great! Was he showing training level? He looks beautiful in that picture, look at the reach!!

Just an update. Jazzy has been home for almost a month now. I am absolutely in love with this filly. I can't wait until she is older. She is HUGE, I am hoping she finishes out 15.3hh. Anyway, here are a few recent pictures

Stevie took his first dressage test yesterday, won his first blue ribbon for performance! Here's a picture of him doing his thing.

Jazzy's beautiful!

I have other pictures of Pete on my web site. He and his big brother Ray are likely to be a matched pair when Pete gets his growth because they both look like their mama, Bessie. Only difference I can see is Pete's white pastern. Pete's got a lot more attitude than Ray, but it should be fun to take them around together once they're fully grown & trained. Unfortunately with all that's going on we're getting out of breeding and selling the mares, so Bessie's going to be leaving us... but, those are the breaks. We're going to keep Pete and Ray, anyway, unless someone makes us an offer we just can't refuse!

Elizabeth, Pete is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!! I am in love with him. Look at that sweet face, and his conformation. He looks darkbay/brown...my absolutely favorite!

Do you have anymore pictures? I would love to see! He is super nice, you must be proud of him.

I thought I would share my new girl, Jazzy. She will be arriving here Tuesday morning. She is a 2008 ApHC Filly, and well bred for what I want. Anyway, I am super excited having another prospect to work with!
