Sorry took so long to get back - his name is Holy Moly Poseidon, aka "Pete", and he's doing great. I haven't taken any recent photos because my paddocks are awash in mud, and so are the horses. So funny to see this photo again because Pete is SO much bigger, four weeks later!

Elizabeth, That baby is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Look at those legs, too!

I am curious too, any names?! How is baby doing now? Any more pictures? I never get tired of seeing the foals :-) .

Thought I would share a short video of Taylor and I from our lesson recently. My instructor was having me work on her lope, and having her use herself a bit more(before slowing her back down). She is coming along considering she has been off for 5 years having babies of her own!!

Wow! Great video. That Appy stallion is fantastic. He changes leads in the lope like he was born doing it.

Mist is a beauty--a little prone to be spooky, but otherwise a lovely mare. She had kind of a rough start and we haven't given her anywhere near the intensity of training it would take to undo that, but she's still a sweetheart. I hope someday we can get another filly out of her with Rainman, because the one we lost was spectacular.

Elizabeth, Absolutely Gorgeous horses!!! I love the name of your site too, too cute!

I love your mare, Mist. As well as your other colt Ray. Good sized offspring! Bayside Rainman is stunning.

Thought I would share a picture of one of my older barns Morgan stallion they owned. He was three in this picture:

I am not as familiar with Morgan's as I am with QH's and Apps but I have met many that are great horses.

Thanks for the compliment on my horses, too. I definitely love them both. Taylor is coming back into work after being a broodmare the last few years. She was shown a lot when younger, and did quite well, but the last owner didn't use her for much but for breeding(just two foals though). The were moving on to QH's and selling their Appy's, so that is how I came across her. I think it was love at first sight LOL. She is a great mare. I love how horses never seem to forget. All her old training has come right back, she just needs to muscling and fine tuning.

We are planning on showing her again, and in a few years having one last baby from her. This is the guy we are most interested in for her, Inpassable:

Hi everyone! I had to join this group the moment I saw it. I have two horses. My 11 year old ApHC mare I adore(she is solid), I do Western Pleasure with her, and my coming three year old QH, Texas. My mom and I raised him from a 5 month old foal, he is a reining prospect. Anyway, would love to 'chit chat' with some fellow horse lovers. I will try to put a few pictures of the horses up. Baby Texas is the one with the white hind sock, and Taylor is solid. Gorgeous horses Jess and Elizabeth!

Pretty! Stevie (below) just got backed for the first time last week. I'm hoping I'll be able to ride him this spring, and by summer I hope to have him behind a cart. Very exciting.
