Hey, my Tu Diabetes friends...my girlfriend has Type 1 diabetes, so I just started a campaign called 'Run To Stop Diabetes'. Visit www.RunToStopDiabetes.com for more info on the campaign!! We're running the 2011 ING NYC Marathon to raise money & awareness for diabetes!!

I qualify for this group so here I am. Though I don't have diabetes, my dad had it. Besides knowing more about diabetes (my wife has it), I am thinking also along the lines of the best prevention for myself.

I hear ya loud and clear Wendy. It IS a family disease in more ways than one. I DO NOT have diabetes.... my son does, along with adreanal insufficiency and hypoglycemic unawareness... but diabetes IS killing me and has changed the person I used to be.
