I'm very excited to start my next two tattoos. They're a themed matched pair that will go on the inside of my forearms. I've wanted them for a very long time. I have posted the original drawings done by an artist friend of mine. Here's a link to them.

Nothing much to add about information involving being tattooed as a T2, but I wanted to share with others who get it.  ;)

Cool designs Brendan. Meaning behind the ink?

In Celtic mythology there are only two seasons. Winter and Summer. The Oak King, represented as the Green Man, rules the summer half of the year. The Holly King, represented as the Greene Knight, rules the winter half. I love winter, so these are two aspects of the Greene Knight.

They will be my 5th & 6th and other than the compass rose tramp stamp, all my ink is related to winter in some way.

Very cool. I'm no Celtic mythology buff so the insight helps a lot :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy them even more once they're on your forearms!

Awesome tattoos. Love the Yule theme.

Thanks, Cherise.

Very cool (love the celtic mythology!) - bests on Saturday :)

Thanks, Bec. It went well. I posted a link to the finished results a minute ago.

Yule 2012 Ink

Here is a link to the photos of the finished outlines. I'm very pleased with the results. I can't wait until December 20th when the coloring begins.

outlines look narly - can't wait either to see it done (i was supposed to have my latest filled in today, but it got bumped, boo!)
;)

There were certainly some gnarly moments. But so worth it. I keep looking down and seeing them and grinning.
