I'm the mom of type 1 diabetic. I got this tattoo about 2 months ago. My daughter designed it. It means "Someday I'll be able to say my daughter USED to have diabetes"

Recent ink. Its going to take a few more sessions due to the fact of money. I work in two hour sessions and for the area that this tattoo will be completely in probably will work best. Its starts out on my front (as in the picture) goes up over my shoulder down my back where it curves onto my ribs at my arm pit. One of his claws just happen to be right at my arm pit on my side.

Wow - this is a place for me: diabetics + ink :)
Got my first tattoo 2 years after my dx - got a few more over the years - celebrated the big 3-0 with a full back piece last year!! Ink on!!
