Welcome aboard Derry, I would be happy to meet with you and whoever can make it to Des Moines. Lets arrange for something people? A Meet up, hangout, lunch, dinner, bowling, movie night.....am open for anything :o)

Busy as hell! Taking swimming lessons and this weekend I will be leaving to Kansas visiting my parents, the weather temperature is higher there!

Dam to dam is located in Des Moines from the Sailorville dam to Court st dam I beleive not for sure. This is the 30th annual. This will be my first as I am training for the Lewis and Clark marathon in Sioux City. As for the asparaga steaming is my fav and grilling the mushrooms with Onion and peppers allong with a little BBQ sauce works for me.
