Hi Kayla. that is great that you got off to such a good start with your pump. I had a very rough start. My endo put numbers inyo my MM 522 pump that were not even close to being what I needed. After running 200-350 for a couple of days I went back to injections until I got my good control back again. Then I completely reprogrammed my pump and in a few weeks I was doing very well. It was sort of a learn as you go and trial and error thing for me. Now, after 8 months of pumping, my BGL's stay between 70 (3.9) and 130 (7.2) almost all the time. I have far fewer lows and highs than I had on injections. I injected for 61 years and now I am going to pump for 61 years. LOL! When I have done so I will be 128 years old. I joke with my friends on diabetesdaily.com that I am going to have a big birthday bash on that date and they are all invited. Now I will invite you too!!! LOL!
