I don't like the pen
I don't like the pen because it's big but the needle is small and i am type 1 diabetic that is thin.Do you like the pen.I am scared of the pen.Is any body scared of the pen. i have been doing really well with my diabetes.My blood sugars been good

Hi Amelia, I'm Zach I am 10 I dont like the pen either. It pushes on me and it hurts. I have had type 1 for almost 2 years and I just started giving my own shots with the syringe in May. I dont mind the shots they dont hurt. My mom says they make a jr pen but I dont want to try it. My mom lets me make my own choice. Try the syringe you will like it.

I don't like the pen either. I don't like it because it is big too. I'm scared just like you are. I like the the insulin shots that are flat on the top, not the ones that are round on the top. I have Type 1 too. My blood sugar was low today at lunch - 77. I am never using the pen. It is way too scary!!!!
