How about the New Orleans Jazz Fest? I'll be there the second week - May 3 through May 6. Should be a fine time, as they say, laissez les bons temps rouler!

Anyone else going to Lollapalooza this year? Ended up planning a weekend in Chicago and found out I'll be there the same weekend. I'll be there for a bit Saturday afternoon listening to Big Audio Dynamite.

Went to a CD launch singing workshop and gig last night for a brilliant folk trio called the Bailey Sisters. The gig was fantastic - they do very harmonic traditional folk as well as classical music. Great fun and I highly recommend their CD. Also got to go to the after concert party which was even more fun than the concert was!

This is so cool. I am all about going to festivals and expos and such. Please let me know on any good open concerts and such. I am sure the Hollywood Bowl will be doing something real soon. I don't mind traveling...It would be fun!!

Hey Portland area Ds, let's meet and check out some live music. This sounds like an awsome idea!
