I am uploading a pdf version of the excel file that I use for logging my blood sugars. It was developed by Kevin (at parenthetic-diabetic.blogspot.com)-- he deserves all credit for it!! He would also be a good person to consult as someone who has thought through pattern management and probably could offer many ideas!

For my purposes, this is the most useful log that I have ever used. The design is great and I think that many would benefit for combining this set up with a quick way to enter numbers, either through email (as is possible with Log for Life) OR by uploading from their meter or pump.

What I like: it has averages AND standard deviations. The charts make it really easy to identify patterns!

Also, check out the pattern management group... there may be a lot of good people to give ideas on the Beta version there.

i agree with this one!
I started using logforlife yesterday and really like it. the question for me will become....will I continue to use long enough to begin a habit. I really hope so. Auto opening the correct keyboard for the iPhone interface would be handy.

This is going to be really helpful. Maybe I need a reminder email sent to me from you guys every 4 hours to test and upload my sugars. LOL
I signed up for it, only to find it doesn't work with mmol. It would be nice if it could accommodate both measures, or at least say on the sign up page that it doesn't work with mmol.
I agree! I would like it to work in mmol as well!
Does anyone know what average is shown on the main log screen? Is it the past week's average?

There is a line shown on the graph... and the graph is of the last week, but just wanted to make sure the average is also for the past week.
