Is anyone taking it to help regulate your BG along with your met?

I'm currently taking 2000mg of met a day, 40mg simvistatin, fish oil, daily multi, and started taking Chromium yesterday.

Has anyone taken to and noticed a difference?

Yes. I have found that it is helpful to reduce the high numbers caused by fasting. I always take metformin with food to avoid the GI issues. I take the chromium without food. I take the first pill as soon as I wake up and the second when I test 2 hours after breakfast. I use wine and cheese in the evening to help bring down the overnight rise. I had to do a lot of testing in order to figure out the best time to take it.Hope it works for you. cheers Joanne

I started to take 250mg of Chromium about a week ago, and it's working great. I also take 2000mg of Metformin, 1000am in the morning, and 1000mg in the evening, along with 12,000mg of fish oil, 8 cayene capsuls 4in the am 4 in the pm, same with oderless garlic capsuls, ginger caps, and 2 magnesium capsuls . I take the Chromium at midday on an empty stomach. My BG has been sitting in the mid to high 70's, throughout the day. I've also noticed, that an hour after a meal, my BG goes up into the 90s and low 100s, depending on what I eat 2hours, after the meal, my BG goes back down to the 70s again. Last night I didn't take my Metformin, due to my BG was sitting at 62. This morning my BG was 91. Maybe this stuff works for reals. I tried it because I ran into an article about it, and had a "what the heck, why not" moment. Well so far so good.

Hey, I just did a Chromium experiment. My BG was 90, I took 250mg of Chromium, within 30 my BG came down to 71, and holding. I'm going to check in another hour, and let you guys know.

So... How did it go Rob?

Sorry for the late response. My blood sugar stayed in the 70s throughout the day.

nope, this nor cinnamon did anything for me.
