Hey, Michigan D-peeps!

Just wondering if anyone's planning to attend this year's JDRF conference at the Wayne Community College Western Campus in Belleville on May 10? There's a number of people going from the Diabetes Online Community, including myself, Tim Brand, Kerri Sparling, Nicole Johnson, Kris Freeman (Olympic skier) and others. We are hoping to also get together somewhere nearby after the event, for a Meetup. On Twitter, the hashtag being used is #JDRFConf so you can also follow along! More details are here: http://michiganeast.jdrf.org/events/michiganeast-today-and-tomorrow...

I will be attending and would love to meet up! I'm not on Twitter though so let me know the details :)

Thinking about it. Would definately come if there's a meet up! Also not on twitter, I'll check back.

There's a group of us all planning to be at the conference. D-Dad Tim Brand is kind of leading the charge to coordinate everyone and get us to the D-Meetup afterward. Plan is to go to nearby restaurant Michael B's following the conference, which ends at 2p. Some of us will be attending a coffee networking thing hosted by Lilly and Dexcom immediately following, from 2-3p, so if anyone else wants to go up to Michael B's in advance the rest can probably follow. Can use this as a way to post, if not on Twitter following #JDRFConf hashtag.

any updates on the coffee details?

Emailed the JDRF coordinator Denise P, and she responded that it's invite-only with small number. So not sure if we can all attend, which is a bummer because that'd be a PERFECT spot!
